First-Class Hospitality in Pheasant Country
In 1938, this South Dakota farmhouse was impressive enough to make the front page of the Saturday Evening Post. We've spent years restoring it—new everything from the foundation up, but the same bones and character that caught a photographer's eye 85 years ago. Seven bedrooms. Seven private bathrooms. Room for 16 hunters who don't have to fight over a shower.
Three meals a day, starting with breakfast after legal shooting time (10 AM—no alarm clocks here). Dinners feature fresh pheasant prepared multiple ways. Special dietary needs? Just tell us ahead.
Top-shelf and bottom-shelf alike. Beer, wine, whiskey, soft drinks. Whatever you're drinking, it's waiting for you when you get back from the field.
South Dakota nights are made for sitting around a fire, talking about the birds you hit and the ones you didn't.
Warm up before the hunt or settle scores after dinner. Either way, it beats watching TV.
Heated kennels for your dogs. Nothing beats hunting behind your own bird dog—bring them. If you don't have dogs, ours are happy to work.
Yes, we have internet. No, we won't judge if you check your email. Shooting simulator available for evening entertainment.
Sleep in. South Dakota doesn't allow hunting until 10 AM, so breakfast is leisurely. Hit the sporting clays if you want to shake off the rust.
Hunt the morning fields. Lunch in the field or back at the lodge—your call.
Keep hunting until sunset. Our guides know where birds hold in the afternoon.
Drinks and appetizers at the bar. Dinner is served family-style. The fire pit's lit if you want it.
We're an all-amenities-included lodge. If we don't have what you need, tell us and we'll get it. This isn't a hunt camp with cots and cold sandwiches—you're paying for comfort, and we deliver.
Want something specific at the bar? Let us know before you arrive. Dietary restrictions? Not a problem.
Book your stay and see why hunters come back year after year.
